Explore the wonderful world of glass; experiment with a variety of techniques and materials and produce unique glass items.

These small friendly classes will guide through the process of designing and creating items of glass art. Starting with the use of a simple "pick and stick" approach, through the basics of cutting sheet glass and adding a variety of inclusions, frits, stringers, wire and glass enamels. You will make 2 or 3 items choosing from a selection of pre-cut base glass pieces. This will vary according to the workshop you have chosen and could include;

Hanging Suncatcher | Tealight | Trinket Dish | Soap Dish | Coaster | Swizzle Stick Set | Plant Pot Decoration | Waves | Curves | Panels | Framed Panel | Plates

Workshops for up to 4 are run from my home studio in Salisbury. If you wish to book a workshop for a larger group, a celebration or special occasion, please contact me for a personalised package.

At the end of the session, items will be fired in my kiln and be ready for collection about a week later. Items can be posted for an additional charge.

All abilities welcome, no prior experience or artistic ability necessary, all materials provided.

Children under 16 are welcome and must be accompanied by a participating adult.

The Glass Room is a fully mobile service so we can also come to your home/ school/club/ venue to run a workshop for any occasion
